Declaring from East

In all of my writing, South is declarer, but this time we are "declaring from East." I was East in an online game against one of my students.

I held:

and observed LHO open 1NT and RHO bid 2♠ to transfer to hearts. I wanted to come in, but I was Vulnerable against not. I passed for now (if the auction died in 2♠, I planned to balance later). Not to be. After LHO's 2♠, RHO bid 4NT. That should be quantitative (to ask for aces or keycards, responder should start with Texas and then bid 4NT). LHO jumped to 6NT and the ♠9 was led:

1) Say that declarer won the DK and took a club finesse down 1.

2) I knew from East that she had a 100% claim

3) Critique north's bidding
