The bridge world recently lost one of its brightest stars. Justin Lall was only 33 and was known for his skill, humor, and integrity. There are many remembrances of Justin going around, and I didn't know him as well as many other, but I know that Justin loved poker and loved bridge, but would probably not love what most people think of as the overlap between the two.
Too many players think bridge has frequent bluffing or ways to try to deceive your opponents through hesitation or making faces. Justin would hate that-- he hated things even tangentially related to cheating. Bridge, unlike poker, is a game where everyone is supposed to have the same information. Your opponents are supposed to know all of your agreements: leads, carding, what bids mean. Hiding that information or having secret agreements is cheating.
